This group is established for those in an around their 60s who would like to share some fun, companionship, & interests. Life circumstances change and often we can find ourselves unencumbered and alone while friends and family are busy with their lives. Almost everything is better shared. You are too young to miss out on the fun. You’re never too old to make new friends.

Come join us!  We attend movies, live theater, opera, and other events together, without going into Boston. We may eat together (inexpensively) before or after to discuss. Possibilities include the Metropolitan Opera's live HD simulcasts in Rockport, or live theater at the Gloucester Stage Company, or movies at the Cabot Theater in Beverly. Our group is now in the application process to gain tax status 501 (C)3 non profit.     We are an organization formed by volunteers who work in the best soup kitchen anywhere.  Its dinner is served every Saturday night and many women with children expressed an interest in volunteering but could not get childcare on Saturdays and were generally not free on Saturday nights.   We decided we would like to have a group within the meal program made up of moms who want to volunteer but need child care …
